Classic Medallion

Debra Burgin 1205 Medallion SympathyI was inspired to create this card by a terrific swap card made by one of my stampers a few years ago for our Super Saturday event.  Her colors were shades of red, so I did something contrary to see if it worked as well.  Even though Baja Blue and Marina Mist are not “dynamic duo” colors, I love the way they look together.  If you just have a few inches of this striped grosgrain ribbon, this is the layout to use it on!

Stamps:  Medallion* (p. 149), Petite Pairs (p. 164)

Ink/Color:  Marina Mist, Soft Suede

Paper:  Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla

Other:  Big Shot, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, 1¼” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon* (Marina Mist), 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon (Soft Suede), Crochet Trim (Victoria), Stampin’ Dimensionals

*Retiring!
