An Everyday Enchantment “quilt”

Debra Burgin 1203 Herringbone FriendWhen I saw Dawn Olchefske demonstrate the Herringbone paper piecing technique at Leadership in January, I knew had to share it with my campers in March.  Because this technique is all the rage now, you can easily find tutorials (probably even videos), but if you are a subscriber to my newsletter when I send out the April edition on Sunday, you’ll also receive my own pictorial instruction sheet, along with the measurements of the template that starts the whole project.

I’m pretty sure that those stampers who made this card at camp agree with me that once you understand the method, it’s not as difficult as it looks!  Time consuming, yes, but not difficult.  If you like detail work — and you have lots of paper scraps — this is the technique for you!

This is my last project using Stampin’ Up! products exclusive to Sale-A-Bration.  It’s been a fabulous promotion and I thank you so much for your enthusiastic participation over the past 9+ weeks!
