Debra Burgin Back walkHere’s the view from the walk to the back porch, taken last Saturday — an overcast day perfect for taking pictures outdoors.  (Please note that as of yesterday, all flower beds are weed free and in order!)  That shed is in our neighbors’ yard, but it’s so darn cute that it satisfies my craving to have my own potting shed — and I don’t have to paint it or keep it tidy!

I love daffodils, especially the white ones with yellow centers.  I don’t know exactly where these came from; many, many years ago I came home from visiting a sort-of relative of DH’s in Virginia with bags of daffies.  (I wonder if it’s illegal to carry plant material between states…?)  Others were extras from the bed in the front yard and who-knows-where-else.  It doesn’t make any difference — I can see the bed on the left from the studio, and that pleases me greatly!

I saw a Kraft Gift Box jazzed up with paper daffies on Connie Babbert’s blog and decided to use the same concept on this Fancy Favor Box:

    The favor bag is darling! Lots of Ds up here too and the forsythia is outstanding this year.
