I can’t believe it was almost seven years ago when we made this card in camp:

Debra Burgin Quilted friendshipThis layout, sometimes called a pinwheel, is making a comeback.  (Many things do, which is why I still have the dress I wore to my niece’s wedding in … let’s just say the last century.)  This is what my current version looks like, from camp this month:

Debra Burgin 1202 Pinwheel QuiltI remember the first version as being difficult for the stampers, but I’ve learned a lot in the last seven years about making things easier and breaking down the process into manageable pieces to foster good results.

You can find tutorials for this layout all over, but I’ll offer some tips next week.
