The dilemma has nothing to do with a particular crafting issue, just the weather. On a beautiful spring day, should I work inside or outside? Inside on stamping projects or outside on yard work? I feel guilty squandering beautiful weather, even though I remind myself that it’s probably not the last beautiful day I’ll ever experience. (And if it is, it really doesn’t make any difference!)
So yesterday I decided to do my running around for the week (outside) so I could stamp guilt-free today. Note that yard work was not one of the options, because it’s really early to be doing too much cleanup. Instead, I delivered orders, did some grocery shopping (at a store where the employees actually walk you to the correct aisle, instead of saying “It should be in aisle…”!) and was literally at the stoplight by the eye clinic when I remembered DH’s appointment. I had two minutes to spare (smart of him not to wait for me to come home!). The six-month report on his glaucoma was good. When I got home I pulled into the driveway just in front of the guy from the roofing company, here to investigate the cause of the water stain in the guest room. And let me just say that it’s been a very expensive two weeks in this household and I’m glad it’s pay day!
So on to some essential and deserved ink therapy, in between coughing spells and the tedious nose-blowing. Can you tell these Petite Purses are addictive? I am glad the design of the die made clever use of the XL size so it’s not such a big investment — you can afford to get carried away! I just hope you can hold on till April 1! Wouldn’t these make the cutest favors at your Easter table?
