Chick happiness

Debra Burgin Chick happinessIt’s been a brutal week here in The House of Phlegm.  Yes, it’s as gross and pathetic as it sounds.  And if you’re smart, you’ll invest in Kimberly Clark and the other tissue companies.  We’ve gone through a lot of it.  But at least I feel I am on the upswing and I hope DH follows soon.

Meanwhile, this is one of February’s camp cards.  I never get tired of using So Saffron — in fact, it’s pretty close to the color of my kitchen, one of my favorite places to be!  Heaven Blessed has the sweetest images of chicks and bunnies.  (You’ll find it in the Occasions Mini Catalog.)  I need to practice coloring the children before I incorporate those images on a project, so I started with this simple card.

Stamps:  Heaven Blessed*, Loving Thoughts*

Ink/Color:  Basic Gray, StazOn Jet Black, Stampin’ Write Markers

Paper:  So Saffron, Patterns Designer Series Paper Stack (Subtles), Very Vanilla

Other:  Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, 1″ Circle Punch, Small Heart Punch, 3/8″ Taffeta Ribbon (So Saffron), Glimmer Brads (Subtles), Stampin’ Dimensionals

  1. Hope you’re feeling better soon! When I was in high school we studied a bit of the stock market. Back then I wanted to invest money in Kimberley Clark or Proctor & Gamble. Wonder if I’d be rich by now if I had the money WAY back then. Good luck perfecting your coloring skills! Can’t wait to see those future projects.
