Sometimes I see another stamper’s card and know it’s just terrific the way it is, so I don’t spend a lot of time messing with perfection! That was the case with a card by Julie Davison, one of my favorite Stampin’ Up! demonstrators (not that I actually know her!).
The window in the card front is die cut after the stripes are embossed. No, we don’t usually do it in that order, because the embossing gets pressed out. However, these stripes are the perfect way to align the heart die, so we’ll put up with a little flattening.
Do you love the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper? It has lots of different personalities, doesn’t it? There are subtle prints that remind me of my grandmother’s house dresses and others, like this one, that are so cheerful and lighthearted. Very easy to use!
