Doily stencil card

Debra Burgin 1201 Doily stencilThis card was inspired by Tanya Boser’s camouflage card that she showed in the Stampin’ Addicts Occasions Mini Blog Hop at the beginning of the month.  She used the new Paper Doily Large Sizzlits Die as a stencil —  an idea so brilliant I had to copy it!

This card is about as anti-camouflage as you can get — very mod-1960s, I think.  The technique is to simply place the doily die cut over the panel (here, in Shimmery White), and sponge color over it.  Repeat with other colors, varying the placement of the doily each time.  The results are different each time, but always wonderful!
