Yesterday our area was preparing for our first Weather Event of the winter. So even though my calendar said it was a Design Day, I spent the morning on business (mine, my husband’s, and my mother’s) and the afternoon running errands, anticipating that today’s driving would be nasty.
It’s amazing (and dismaying) to me to see how much time errands eat up. I am very grateful to work from home (much of the time) and have the opportunity to be on the roads and in the stores when most people aren’t, but still.
So yesterday I was out without a jacket, and tomorrow we’ll be in the teens. We have been very, very spoiled.
This card was from the Stampin’ Addicts Addicts Occasions Mini Blog Hop at the beginning of the month. I promised you the details, so here they are. My hint for success with this design? A quilting ruler. I’ll let you know how I use it — one of my favorite stamping tools — during an upcoming Tuesday Tip.
