Winter Red Bird

Debra Burgin 1112 Winter Red BirdFor December camps we are making cards and projects that are not holiday specific, but still special.  Since I always need several birthday cards right away in the new year, I wisely designed camp cards I’ll be able to use, wintery but not Happy Holidays.  (Actually this would make a great holiday card — one my mother would appreciate, as she often had a cardinal on her Christmas card.)  And even though I’m having fun with brand new products, I never tire of this set.

This one has sparkles of “snow” on the branches from the application of Dazzling Details.  Perhaps you’ve already seen the Occasions Mini Catalog and are aware that Dazzling Details will be offered in Cherry Cobbler beginning January 4.  Trust me, it is fabulous!

Also hard to see is that the Real Red card base has been smooched with Vanilla Shimmer.  Despite the application challenges, I love the Smooch Spritz.  Again, you’ll see it in a new color soon!

Stamps:  Season of Friendship (p. 102)

Ink/color: Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler

Paper:  Real Red, Designer Series Paper (Frostwood Lodge*), Whisper White

Smooch Spritz (Vanilla Shimmer), Baker’s Twine (Early Espresso), Designer Button (Brights, Regals, or Holly Berry Bouquet*), Dazzling Details*, Glue Dots

*Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini Catalog
