Tuesday Tip: Dying Glimmer Paper

I hope you’re using the new Silver Glimmer Paper on your holiday projects this year!  This new color is not only loaded with tons of sparkle, it can be dyed.  I simply put a few drops of Classic re-inker onto a plastic lid (empty embellishment containers are perfect for this!) and applied the ink with an Aqua Painter, using plenty of water to spread the ink.  Drying the paper with a Heat Tool allowed me to enjoy the effect right away.

In the following photograph you can see the original Silver paper at left and my first dying experiment, using Early Espresso ink.  The effect is more brown than the image shows — like chocolate diamonds!  I’ll show you a project with this tomorrow!
