Floral Memories

Debra Burgin 1109 Floral MemoriesI designed this card after seeing several others with similar layouts.  This set, Flower Fest, was not on my wish list when I first saw it in the Occasions Mini.  But when it showed up in the big catty, well, I went ahead.  As I’ve told some of my stampers, anyone can make a beautiful spring floral card with this set (and we’ve already used it a lot in camp), but I challenged myself to create an autumn arrangement.  Mums?  Not exactly, but at least the colors say “fall.”

(So does our weather the last few days.  Time for a jacket.)

The colors are better IRL.  I don’t know what’s happening to (a) my camera, (b) the lighting I use, or (c) my eyes.  Just can’t seem to get good pix lately.

Very happy I bought Blessings from Heaven.  Wonderful sentiments.

Speaking of fall, I’m not sure how long it’s been there, but some Designer Series Paper from a few years ago, Autumn Traditions, is available in the Clearance Rack for an amazing $3.99!  Clearance Rack purchases must be made online, so you may want to think about putting a list together….
