Frosted leaves

Debra Burgin Frosted leavesIt’s not by accident that the theme of this month’s stamp camps is “Thinking of you.”  This household seems to require an unfortunate number of sympathy cards, and this is the latest, for a couple whose daughter just died.

I actually have sympathy cards in reserve, but I was experimenting with something and decided to use it here.  The dark leaf was embossed after the image was trimmed.  It doesn’t look like it was stamped on Old Olive, does it?  The “frosted” leaves are stamped in Very Vanilla Craft ink; remember to heat it for greater pop.

Stamps:  Gently Falling (Holiday Mini)

Ink/Color:  Very Vanilla Craft, Old Olive

Paper:  Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive

Other:  Heat Tool and Stampin’ Emboss Powder (Clear), 1/2″ Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Linen Thread, Stampin’ Dimensionals
