Live in the sunshine, but …

Debra Burgin 1108 Sunny Duck… wear a hat and carry a parasol!  I feel I can legitimately nag you about that, seeing as I am still healing from the skin cancer surgery on my scalp last month.  And me — a long-time hat wearer!

Skin cancer is not all that funny, really.  If you’re concerned about it, here’s a link for more information on basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer.  Trust me, you don’t want the surgery!

BTW, thank you to Diana Gibbs, the first person I saw create this darling duck-in-the-sun motif!

We went to a fine arts festival in the Denver area on Saturday. It was hot and sunny. Was I wearing a hat? No. Percentage of people wearing hats? My guess was less than 10%. I need to find a foldable hat that is easy to pack in a purse, tote or pocket.
