Susan’s quilt

Debra Burgin Susan's quiltMy goodness.  Wow.  I feel like I’ve been gone from here for weeks, instead of just a few days!  The condensed version of the story is that I had a dying computer.  I’m well on the way to “normal”:  the new computer is fully functional, all my files have been transferred, I’ve got Internet radio and my bookmarks — three cheers for backups!

My sister has been burning up her sewing machine finishing quilting projects.  Those not-quite-done items are called UFOs — unfinished objects!  Crafters of all kinds have those issues, don’t we?

I have made these pieced paper quilts before, but never with the new Petite Pennants Builder punch.  Embossing and sanding the surface adds to the quilt effect.  This reminds me of a vintage quilt neatly folded up and tied with a ribbon.

Have you been tempted by this month’s special on Designer Series Paper?  Here’s just the project for you!
