A French pear

Debra Burgin 1107 CH PearThis image is from one of the new hostess-only sets in the new Stampin’ Up! catalog.  Did you know that when you are the hostess of a qualifying workshop (with a minimum of $150 in sales), you earn money to spend on anything in the catalog?  This includes sets and products that are only available to the hostess.  The prices of these exclusive items are lower than comparable items.  And if the hostess has a workshop of over $400, she is able to chose any item in the catalog (or mini) for half price.  Oh, and there’s a lot of squealing going on, too!

This card certainly has an autumnal feel to it, and the thought of cuddling up with a houndstooth-checked throw on a chilly evening is mighty appealing during this brutal heat wave.

Stamps:  Faith in Nature (hostess only)

Ink/color:  StazOn Jet Black, assorted Watercolor Wonder crayons, Stampin’ Write Marker (Old Olive)

Paper:  Naturals Ivory, Basic Black, Old Olive, Shimmery White, More Mustard

Other:  Color Spritzer Tool, Big Shot and Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Aqua Painter, 1¾” Scallop Circle Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I love the color spritzer technique on the card base. We should do that in camp again soon;)
