Hydrangea ice cream

Debra Burgin 1107 Hydrangea coneHave you heard it said that there are no really “new” ideas?  I just recently experienced that with this card.  After I had designed it for camp this month, I saw this in the weekly Hy-Vee ad:

Isn’t that funny?

This is the card that uses a bow created with yesterday’s template.  Everyone who made this last night was successful, so try it yourself!

I love, love, love the new Stripes Embossing Folder.  It was #1 on my wish list, and it has not disappointed!  Of course I had to try it on vellum; it is an amazing effect, hard to see in the photo.

Today is the first day of Stampin’ Up! Convention.  {{sob}}  Yes, DH, you were right — I am sorry I’m not there!  I will be hanging on every blog post, tweet, and FB post for the latest info.  The real stuff doesn’t happen until tomorrow, but it’s the day to gather and swap.  {{sob}}
