Tuesday Tip: A bow template

A stamper who blogs at Butternut Sage Designs has created a very clever gadget to easily make a bow with tails that will wrap and adhere behind a panel.  I won’t even attempt to describe the template or process — instead, I’ll direct you to her very clear video here.

When you try this for yourself, I would suggest working with a longer piece of ribbon.  We’re using this technique on a card in camp this month, and we’ll use 14″ of ribbon for a 4¼” card width.  (I’ll show you the card tomorrow.)  I would love your feedback on this!

Well, isn’t that clever! It never ceases to amaze me what fabulous techniques people can come up with! I appreciate this as I am one of the bow impaired.

It’s definitely more affordable than buying one of those Bow Buddy things that some demos are selling. Thanks for posting this :o)

  3. Oh my, this sure brings back memories. I had something very similar to this MANY years ago but lost it in “The Move”. Thanks so much for sharing. Debie
