Journeys — ending and beginning

Don’t forget to comment on yesterday’s post with your guess on the total in my coin jar for a chance to win something!
Debra Burgin 1106 JourneyAnother Stampin’ Up! year ends today — wow!  Just as on December 31, I have a great feeling of anticipation, but also a sense of unease.  On December 31 it’s related to tax deductible expenses not taken and on June 30 it’s about retiring products not purchased!

This card, one of our June camp projects, uses one of my favorite punches.  Today’s the last day to order the Spiral Border Punch!  In fact, I just replaced my old one a few weeks ago (after the retirement list came out) to ensure I’d still be able to cover generic notebooks and add pages to my wire-bound catalog.  I broke my old one when I used a hammer to adjust one of the pokey things.  Don’t do that.

Can you see the white sails?  This little bit of magic was achieved by painting the back side of the vellum with Shimmer Paint.  A fabulous result!
