From the hop: Flowers on the Grow

Debra Burgin Flowers On the GrowI thought I’d give you the recipe for this card I featured in last weekend’s Stampin’ Addicts Blog Hop.  Come back Tuesday when I show you my simple technique for creating a folded card from a complete circle.

I wanted to create some dimension to the punched flowers along the scallops.  After coloring them and letting them dry, I put them on a Paper Piercing Pad and pressed a stylus into the center of each flower, creating the cup shape.  I used a tiny dot of Multipurpose Adhesive on the card front, then dropped the flower unto the glue, holding it in place with the stylus.  After just a few seconds, the flower was firmly adhered.

Ink:  StazOn Jet Black

Paper:  Baja Breeze, Watercolor Paper, So Saffron
