We made this card last week at my Colonial House camp. (Hi, ladies!) I love stamping there! My projects the last three months have been somewhat simple, perfect to re-create. And so I’ve made several of this card; they’re in the mail to my far-away relatives.
It was fun to read the comments (posted and sent directly to me) on yesterday’s post about organizing your cards. Margot mentioned keeping track of her sentiments in a Word document. I rarely stamp inside of a card; sometimes that’s because I’m using a card that’s already made up, but usually I want to personalize the sentiment.
I actually use the same “verse” for all birthday recipients during the year. (Yes, it’s named “2011 birthday landscape,” but I usually type in WordPerfect, not Word.) I just add the person’s name. I may print a 1/4 sheet with the inside sentiment, but if I have an idea for a card and know what colors I’ll be using, I print directly on the card stock. (That’s what I do for my Christmas cards.)
