I love when my stampers make suggestions that improve my design or technique. I inked up the Medallion stamp for this card with sponge daubers. It’s hard to know if you’re getting good ink coverage, especially with these colors. She suggested inking the entire stamp in the lightest color, then sponging on only the two darker ones. You’re assured of complete coverage that way, and the results were terrific! Be sure to mist lightly with water so that the ink is moist when you stamp.
This is a card that can change its personality depending on the color scheme. Try some spring colors — we need to encourage a change of season around here, what with a wind chill of 19° last night when I got home from class!
