This isn’t my invention, darn it — it’s a great tip! Punch out a “handle” from card stock to identify the ink color to be used with that sponge and to provide a nifty grip. I used the Round Tab punch and simply stapled it onto a wedge of a Stampin’ Sponge (I cut my sponges into 6 wedges). No ink pad contamination, and your fingers stay clean, too!
I’ve seen nifty storage suggestions for these handled sponges, but I throw mine in a little drawer — the colored handles make it simple to find the right sponge to use.
