Here’s one of my projects from Super Saturday a couple of weeks ago. I was inspired by a fabulous design from Glenda Jones. White on white, with just a little color, is so classy. I added a little shimmer to the butterfly’s wings, but at least one stamper also highlighted the embossed tulips, an inspired addition. I love it when stampers change things up a bit.
Meanwhile, DH and I have been spending way too much time trying to finish the redecorating of the master bedroom. Its wallpaper was up for at least 24 years and, as you would expect, it looked really dated. I made the mistake of falling in love with a wall color first, so we have been searching for the perfect bedding and accessories to coordinate. Yesterday we came home with a carload of products, but I have some second thoughts on things we were sure would be perfect. Also, I have a lot of sewing to do; since we couldn’t find ready-made window treatments, etc., it’s up to me to create them.
