This card was inspired by one designed by Heather Telford. Her card was entirely white except for the sponged and stamped work, which spanned the entire width of the card front. It was very striking but, as a single-layer card, fraught with danger! One slip of the mask or errant sponge mark and the entire card front was ruined. So I decided to sponge just a panel, matted with a narrow panel. I like the way this card turned out, and this month’s stampers at camp have done beautiful work of their own on this! Be very careful — very! — when you remove the tape (I used painter’s tape) so as not to tear the panel.
