A sunny birthday wish

Debra Burgin 1103 Sunny birthday wishThis is the second card we made at Tuesday evening’s workshop.  I really like this little/big set from the Occasions Mini — little because, except for the frame, the images are indeed little, and big because there are 18 stamps in the set!  I bought this set in wood-mount because the stamps are so small.  Lots of potential for lost rubber along the way!

I love working with vellum, and while I was looking through digital images of “from the vault” cards, I found one that I wanted to re-create.  It also had leaves on vellum, but that’s about where the similarity ends.  And that’s just what I enjoy about the creative process.  Unlike most things I do (“Start with the end in mind”), I’m not quite sure where my design will end up when I start stamping.  Sometimes it ends up in the recycle bin!

Stamps:  Baby Blossoms (Occasions Mini), Sincere Salutations

Ink:  Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, Old Olive, Always Artichoke

Paper:  So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Vellum Card Stock

Other:  2″ x 1-3/8″ Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, 1/2″ Seam Binding Ribbon (Always Artichoke), Stampin’ Dimensionals
