Silhouettes in yellow

Debra Burgin 1102 Silhouettes in yellowI’m desperate for spring, and I’m sure it shows!  Right now, pretty much full to the brim of pinks and reds, I am craving yellow — as in sunshine.  We’ve had a couple of gloomy days here, and although we’re way above average on the thermometer (thank you, God!), our excessive snow is melting into sodden, soupy lawns.  Not very attractive.

It was about this time of year that we were house hunting — 24 years ago.  Things looked as they do now, and I was very discouraged.  That’s just late winter in northern Illinois, and I need to remember that in another month or so I will have my seedling marigolds up on the porch and the birds will be singing like fools.  Please hurry!

    Very pretty. I love contrast!
It is also very soggy here too. I can’t wait for the flowers to take bloom! I am excited for spring in PA. It will be very different from UT.
