Tuesday Tip: It’s a cinch

Debra Burgin cinch

[Objects in photo above appear much larger than in real life!]

This is a technique I use a lot:  Pinch and Cinch.  It needs a particular brad, however.  You must pull the prongs apart and away from the base so that it looks like this:  Π (something like an upside-down, square U).  With one hand pinching the ribbon, feed it into the brad sideways, then turn the brad so its head is on top.  Close the prongs and affix the brad to the panel through a hole.  Separate the prongs on the back of the panel and flatten them.

This is a very sturdy and not very lumpy ribbon treatment.  Come back tomorrow for the entire card!
