I have a stamper who has a family who loves her enough to give her gift cards from me for Christmas and for her January birthday! I try to create a special packaging for her; it’s not easy, since she’s been getting these cards from me for a few years now!
This matchbox with a pop-up heart is similar to a swap I did at Stampin’ Up! Leadership in Nashville. The heart is attached to the bottom of the box with a strip of our Medium Window Sheet. There’s enough give in this weight of window sheet that the heart can bend over the chocolates so that the box can be slipped into the cover. When the box is pulled out, the heart pops up.
These are easy to make, but you must use a strong adhesive on the window sheet strip. Any standard adhesive wouldn’t withstand the stress on this piece. I use my usual Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Be careful! Adhesive left on the window sheet is impossible to remove, so neatness counts with this project.
