A stone heart — polished, that is

Debra Burgin 1101 Polished Stone LoveI learned the polished stone technique years ago from my own Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  But I’m sorry to say that, despite one of my stampers gently nagging me, I never used it in a camp card, until this month.  Now I’m anxious to try this with other colors — neutrals would be stunning!

The small heart that is the flower head was punched from the main polished stone panel, at the right edge, hidden by the stamped panel.

Stamps:  Love You Much (p. 47)

Ink:  Pretty in Pink refill, Riding Hood Red refill, Basic Black, Stampin’ Write Markers (Regal Rose, Old Olive)

Paper:  Pink Pirouette, Glossy White, Whisper White

Other:  Shimmer Paint (Champagne Mist), Heat Tool, Heart Punch, Basic Pearl, 5/8″ Satin Ribbon (Pretty in Pink), Stampin’ Dimensionals
