Here is the swap card I am exchanging at the Stampin’ Addicts’ gathering this evening at Leadership in Nashville, TN. It is also a card we are making this month at stamp camp. (How’s that for working smarter?)
I had such fun working with this stamp for the recent SA Occasions Mini blog hop that I just kept going. This time I incorporated the wonderful First Edition Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). This lighter-weight paper is perfect for layering and creating pleated rosettes and the scrunched-up flowers that are still so popular. Love it!
To get the embossed frame colored, simply lightly brayer the color over — you may want to hold a piece of scratch paper over the areas you don’t want colored, as it’s a bit hard to miss the center with this folder when you’re brayering. On the other hand, this is a shabby chic look, and we don’t expect perfection, do we?

Wow, I love this. The touch of ribbon and lace with the glimmer brad make it elegant and not to sugary. Perfect.
