Here’s a second attempt at the sketch and color challenge for this month, as seen in my monthly newsletter. (Click here to subscribe!)
I put away the watercoloring for November’s camp projects, and I missed it sorely! So I did just a bit here on our wonderful Watercolor Paper. I did some serious “smooching” on this image as well as on the card base. It’s a challenge for me to capture the shimmer in a photo; maybe this closeup will help.
When we use the Smooch Spritz in camp, often someone has questions about using this product. Here are some tips from my own experience:
- Shake before using, but
- Shake the tube by holding the top and shaking down, as if shaking a thermometer down.
- Don’t expect a shimmery mist; this product delivers more of a splatter.
- Don’t expect to be able to control the coverage.
- Enjoy the results!
I love using Smooch Spritz just because of its unpredictability; it’s great for shabby-chic or vintage looks. If I were going for elegance, I’d use something else.
