The charm of autumn

Debra Burgin Autumn charmI’ve made several charm inserts for Christmas, but needed something now!  When in doubt, pick up French Foliage!  On this tiny “canvas” — just 1″ x 1¼” — I was still able to use five different stamps!  No other embellishment on the insert was needed, but for the first time I cut a bit of 1¼” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon in half lengthwise and let the raw edges unravel a bit.  It suits the design of the charm and the lace as well.

(Wondering about the snake chain?  It’s an old one of mine; my other charm is on the Stampin’ Up! chain.)

Stamps:  French Foliage (Holiday Mini), Winter Post (p. 37)

Ink:  Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze

Paper:  Very Vanilla

Other:  Simply Adorned 1″ x 1¼” Charm, 1¼” Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (Old Olive), Crochet Trim (Victoria)

Clever use of the Winter Post stamp to “cancel” the French Foliage stamp! Very nice looking charm. (And you are tipping me ever closer to getting the larger sized charms!)
