Birthday dreams

Click to enlargeI nearly had to blow the dust off this set to use it on a few birthday cards this week!  This stamp in particular is great to color — but be sure you start with StazOn ink so your image does not smear when you are coloring.

This was a sketch challenge from somewhere, although I simplified it.  I’m pleased with the contrast of texture and pattern.   Happy birthday(s), Jamie and Sally!

Stamps:  Dreams du Jour (p. 101)

Ink:  StazOn Jet Black, assorted Watercolor Wonder Crayons

Paper:  More Mustard, Designer Series Paper Pack (In Color), Old Olive, Whisper White

Other:  Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, Circles #2 die, Stampin’ Dimensionals
