Who is that masked tree?

Debra Burgin Masked treeSorry about that!  I’ve been working on some masked cards for an upcoming Clean & Simple class, inspired by the work of Heather Telford.  I love to sponge, having finally learned that you don’t pounce or press, you rub.  Like putting rouge on, I explain to my stampers (as if anyone remembers rouge!).

There’s a generous amount of Smooch Spritz on here that doesn’t photograph well … or really at all, come to think of it!

I’m still deciding whether I like this or not.  What do you think?

Stamps:  Lovely as a Tree

Ink:  Always Artichoke, Old Olive, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso

Paper:  Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White

Other:  Stampin’ Sponges, Smooch Spritz (Vanilla Shimmer)

Hmmm… I’m still deciding too. Of course I like it because it’s Lovely as a Tree. I like the blues and greens, but I think the white is kind of stark.

  4. I love your sponging and the masking makes this lovely as a tree card fabulous.
