Debra Burgin Blocked FoliageI can finally exhale:  the magazine is in the mail and uploaded for demonstrators to view online, so I think it’s safe to tell you that this card won the November Art Contest for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators in the United States and Canada.  It appears (with a little story and my picture) in the November issue of Stampin’ Success, our demonstrator magazine.

Being published was my goal last year, but of course I only submitted an entry once or twice, so the odds weren’t very good!  When I got the email telling me I had won, I actually was squealing uncontrollably!  Poor DH didn’t know what hit me.  I couldn’t stop grinning!

I originally made this card for the Stampin’ Addicts blog hop back in August.  While I was at it, I made another to submit to Stampin’ Up! for the monthly contest.

I am inspired to submit my work elsewhere!

Stamps:  French Foliage (Holiday Mini)

Ink:  Early Espresso, River Rock

Paper:  River Rock, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla

Other:  Clear-Mount Block C, Mini Vintage Tag, Stampin’ Dimensionals
