Ghosted leaves … BOO!

Debra Burgin Ghosted leavesHere’s a (simpler) variation of a project we made last weekend.  The technique is called Ghosting.  I’ll post a tutorial later, but you can find it all over the web if you’re in a hurry!

Glossy card stock is interesting to work with.  Be careful not to touch it too much before stamping; the oil in your fingers will act as a resist agent and your ink coverage will not be uniform.  Glossy cs has only one “right” side.  So much for a second chance!  The color you apply lightens a bit — fairly quickly — so on this card you want some serious coverage.

Stamps:  Paisley Prints (Holiday Mini), Tiny Tags

Ink:  VersaMark, Cajun Craze, Basic Black

Paper:  Pumpkin Pie, Glossy Card Stock, Basic Black

Other:  Brayer, Scallop Trim Border Punch, 5/8” Satin Ribbon (Basic Black), Heat Tool and Stampin’ Emboss Powder (Black), Jewelry Tag, Black Brad

  1. Lovely card! Thanks for reminding me about the “boo” in the Tiny Tags stamp set. I don’t think I inked that one up yet.
