I’ve been participating in a challenge over at The Hive, a cyber community of crafters. It’s more than stamps, ink and paper — people are doing amazing work with their medium of choice. I just bought some earrings that are quite excellent for the season. (Super Saturday ladies, you’ll see them then!) If you decide to join the group there (no obligation; it’s just so you can participate in discussions, etc.), click HERE to register.
The current challenge that I’m in is for autumn creations. It’s interesting to see submissions from all different types of crafts. I jumped in and posted some of my cards. The card above, however, was just some leftover pieces for a quick TY.
I’m not expecting to win the challenge, but it’s fun to play. The title of this post is from something I did win, some years ago: a book at a scrapbooking class taught by the author.
Really, I am one of those people who never wins. If there’s a drawing, if there’s a prize patrol giveaway (like at Convention), if there’s a lucky ticket — well, I barely pay attention, because I’m nearly certain they won’t be calling my name, picking my wristband color, or posting my number.
However, two weeks ago I was notified that I did win something very, very, very special. I’ve told some of my campers and some friends and family (I don’t think it’s a secret). The whole world (the Stampin’ Up! world, at least) will know next month.
