This owl from yesterday’s card is so fun to make — all the pieces are from one punch (of course, we punched several times from different card stock colors, but it’s still one punch). Even the tiny pupils of the eyes are punches.
What that means is that you’ve got some “fussy gluing” going on here, and the potential for messy fingers and messy projects. We don’t want that!
So today’s tip is a time- and lifesaver: instead of applying wet glue to a tiny punched piece, then flipping it into place (or on somewhere you didn’t intend it to land, ahem), apply a tiny bit of glue to the destination, then drop the (dry) punched piece onto the glue, sliding it into position.
See if that tip doesn’t help a sticky situation!
