To Beth: Thank you!

This card is nearly an exact CASE* of one by someone named Beth.  Wish I had her last name to credit her!

I’ve been creating out of the new Holiday Mini for several weeks now, and I just felt the need to pick up an old set and get something out of it.  It’s easier when you *Copy and Share Everything!  We got this set at the Stampin’ Up! Regionals meeting in Milwaukee last March.  I love the this wheel (there’s actually another wheel that “matches” the set), and since I am perfecting my wheeling technique, I wanted to make this card.

The scheme is Bravo Burgundy (again!) and its color partner, Cherry Cobbler.  It’s a very rich look!  Don’t create too much contrast by using Whisper White — I think Very Vanilla is the better neutral.  I took all the brads out of the container marked “Silver,” but I think there was a Vintage one hiding in there that ended up in the middle of the trio!

Stamps:  Vintage Vogue (p. 126), Friendly Words (wheel — p. 138)

Ink:  Bravo Burgundy, Cherry Cobbler

Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla

Other:  Silver Brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals

The color combo is great and it is a lovely card!

  2. Gorgeous! I would never have thought to pair these two colors together, but it’s beautiful. And I love CASEing too. It’s the only thing that keeps me stamping some days. 🙂
