Falling Foliage

This card, from last weekend’s Stampin’ Addicts Holiday Mini Blog Hop, garnered quite a few comments!  As I mentioned on the Hop, my hints for all-over, random stamping can be found here.  Generally, the smaller the images, the closer I stamp them to each other.  I never try to “fill in” images, I keep to the triangle method.

However, there is value in evaluating your nearly finished result and ensuring that the coverage is at least moderately consistent.  So, the last stamp I use might be something like the spatter image in this set.  For this card, as an experiment, I then rubbed the Tea Stain ink from Stampin’ Up!’s Distressing Essentials kit.  What a fun finish!
