Big button Christmas

Here’s the quick card I gave you a peek of yesterday.  I don’t know how the sentiment smeared, and I’m not quite sure how to fix it!

These buttons are fabulous!  Like all the new buttons, when you open the package, you must resist every impulse to put them in your mouth.  Seriously, they look like candy.  So pretty … and tempting!

The textured panel was an unconventional choice; I angled the panel in the folder to gain the most interesting embossing detail.

Stamps:  All Holidays (p. 154)

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler

Paper:  Crumb Cake, Always Artichoke, Naturals Ivory, Cherry Cobbler

Other:  Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Snowflake Punch, Deck the Halls Big Designer Button (Always Artichoke), Hemp Twine, Stampin’ Dimensionals

That’s a perfect clean & simple card to mass produce for Christmas. Thank you for the idea 🙂

I’ve had lots of practice “correcting” bad sentiment stamping. I would stamp the Merry Christmas in a circle or oval punch of Ivory and tuck that bottom behind the Always Artichoke layer.

Thanks again for all your inspiration,
    Gwen

Perfect for a stamp-a-stack. (As long as no one eats the buttons, lol.)

Love the CAS look of this card!
