Textured friends

This set was one we were able to pre-order before the new Stampin’ Up! catalog debuted.  Yes, one of the many perks we receive as demonstrators!  The textured Not Quite Navy panel was a new technique for me.  Using Whisper White Craft ink, simply ink the inside of the front of the embossing folder.  It’s a little tricky to get the application even — hold the folder up to the light to check your work.  Then insert the card stock into the folder and use the Big Shot as usual.  Depending on which side of the folder you inked, your texture will have the embossed or debossed areas inked.  It’s a very cool effect!

Stamps:  Friends Never Fade (p. 99)

Ink:  So Saffron, Whisper White (Craft), Cherry Cobbler

Paper:  So Saffron, Not Quite Navy, Cherry Cobbler, Baja Breeze, Whisper White

Other:  Big Shot, Square Lattice Textured Impressions Folder, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals
