Tuesday Tip: Combining corner and border punches

It seems I say this a lot, but, OK, I was thrilled to see the new punches in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Mini.  I may have even shouted out loud to see the coordinating Scallop Trim Border Punch offered as a FREE Sale-A-Bration item.  Now that they’re in my hot little hands, they have not disappointed.

However {clears throat} I have been unsatisfied with how the border and corner punches work together.  Yes, I’ve seen and followed pdf tip sheets, lengthy blog posts, measurements — everything to try to ensure success.  But until I saw Stampin’ Up!’s own video tutorial, I couldn’t make a “perfect” panel.  (That’s why we haven’t done this together at camp — but that will change!)

My results after viewing this vide0 just once:  excellent!  So grab your punches and any size rectangle piece of card stock (not lightweight paper) and try this for yourself!
