This card was inspired by one by Tessa Wise that I’ve had in my “must CASE” file for a year. I love her work and was pleased to see her featured in our monthly Stampin’ Up! demonstrator magazine — don’t I have good taste!
This color palette is so refreshing at this time of year, isn’t it? Stamper Audrey sent me a sympathy card in these colors — and with glitter, too! It’s like a breath of spring.
To create the hearts, create “faux diamond dust” strips of Pretty in Pink and Melon Mambo — you can read how in my February newsletter. Then punch out the hearts. Trying to ink and emboss the tiny hearts is way too difficult! But yesterday’s tip about using a toothpick for delicate work is perfect for this project, as you can pick up each heart with the sticky toothpick, apply a tiny bit of adhesive (I use Tombow Multi-Purpose), and place it where you want it.
