Concept card

This is my first card made with the Star Punch Window and the Movers & Shapers Curly Label Bigz Die.  Whew!  That’s some product name!  All these months since this product was released, I wasn’t really sure how it worked.  I watched videos (how much clearer could that be?), but until I experienced it for myself it didn’t sink in.

Very cool idea — die cut a shape anywhere on a card front or panel.  And the beauty is that these dies (called Magnetic Punch Windows) are just a shade larger than the punch that coordinates.  So not only are you getting a window, but you can put the punched item inside the window.

To crank it up a notch, I cut the window twice so I could use two stars, one adhered flat and the other popped up.  Not too bad for a first effort, but I have ideas for more!

Oops — almost forgot the best part!  I was able to get the Movers & Shapers Die for just $10 (because it’s in the Holiday Mini) with a workshop of at least $250!  This promotion continues through the end of November — don’t miss it!
