A new technique, at least to me!

I thought I’d check out the challenges over at Stampin’ Addicts and found this one:  Emboss Re-Lift.  I remember reading about this technique but never did anything with it.  This was the perfect … challenge!  Please, you must do this and see how unusual the texture of your stamped panel is.  It’s really neat, something like a parchment feel.  And if you click the card image above to enlarge it, you’ll see the cool shadows around the edges of the trees.  It reminds me of a woodcut image.

Great to get this set out again — I never tire of it (and that’s why my campers see it at least once every fall and winter).

Stamp:  Lovely As a Tree (p. 110)

Ink:  VersaMark, Whisper White Craft

Paper:  Real Red, Old Olive, Naturals Ivory

Other:  Stampin’ Sponge, Heat Tool and Stampin’ Emboss Powder (Clear), Big Shot and Small Dots Texturz Plate, Stampin’ Dimensionals

This sounds very complicated. BUT I will give it a try because I love the outcome. I’ll let you know how it goes.
