This is my first Build-A-Bear card. As I was, um, building her, my worst fear came to pass: I started talking to her. This was just why I was resisting this whole line. But I couldn’t turn my back on the potential for endless variations on a bear in a seasonal outfit — all those dreary, wasted years with no cement goose on the front stoop! — and so here I am.
