Monday I got something on my wish list that knocked my socks off when I first saw it: the Medallion stamp on page 133. It’s huge — 4½” in diameter — and perfect for a background stamp. I wanted to use it as a repeating stamp, creating my own designer paper. I only covered a half sheet of Whisper White, but it was just gorgeous in its simplicity. I couldn’t stop looking at it! Then I took a deep breath and cut it in four equal pieces.
Here’s my first creation, very clean, very quick. I often think I could add more (pearls would be so pretty on this), but I would rather have a simple card that’s ready to use than be late with a card because I couldn’t leave well enough alone. So I’m done.
After my first success at texturizing only the front of card, I had a miserable time trying to figure out how I had accomplished it! Stamper Jody reminded me how, and it worked perfectly here.
