Roy G. Biv — ever meet him?

crayon-hearts

This card was inspired by Chris Smith, who was inspired by a box of crayons!  I thought I’d take it further and use the ROYGBIV acronym that names the colors in a rainbow:  Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet.  I know my colors are not quite right, but I was looking for something pleasing to the eye.  Chris’ design used a white card base, but I was so far out of my comfort zone, I thought I may as well make a huge commitment to Kiwi!

Stamps:  Happy Everything

Ink:  VersaMark

Paper:  Kiwi Kiss, Basic Black, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Sun, Ballet Blue, Not Quite Navy, Lavender Lace (I think)

Other:  Heart-to-Heart Punch, Stampin’ Emboss Powder (black), Heat Tool

I really like the black as the background to the hearts. I’ve seen more and more “Valentine” prints with black in them and its very classic! Nice card.

I love the rainbow heart card. I love the valentine hearts/love in the card.
